A pharmacy technician at Hola general hospital was caught smuggling drugs out of the facility.
Theft of drugs has been rampant at the hospital with blames always being directed to the hospital management.
The officers Forty days arrived to soon as this time the technician who stole the drugs from the pharmacy and collaborated with a cleaner to smuggle them out of the hospital environment was caught, the cleaner hid them in a trash and pretended to be taking them to the dump site.
Security officers on duty apprehend the staff and called the hospital management who alerted the police.
More drugs were also found at the officers resident. Last month the county government through the department of health purchased drugs worth 80 million.
