A ray of hope for the youths in Tanariver County!


Just months after her commissioning of NITA (National Industrial…) sponsorship program, Tanariver County Women Representative Hon. Rehema Hassan have reitarated her commitment to education development among Tanariver County Youth by officialy launching a 30 college students full sponsorship college program with a disburse of Kshs.1M and opening of Malindi Institute of Business studies at Minjila Town.

Gracing the event was the County MP and some educational stakeholders, political and religious leaders. Students beneficiaries from all corners of the county were also in attendance.

The opening of the college at Minjila Town is a big plus to students who incurred alot of cost travelling all the way to malindi and beyond in such of college education, the Women Representative asked the youth to commit themselves to education development and thanked the college management for accepting her proposal to opening the college branch at Minjila.

The first lot of thirty students will have full sponsorship from her office and a program to increase the number is also in the pipeline.

Later in the day, the County MP alias Mama Chapchap paid a courtesy call to Marifano High School where she met the candidates to launch her Success Card of the year and gave a motivational talk to them. She went a notch higher by promising some awards to the schools in Tanaruver for any good performance in this year KCSE examination.

In attendance was Dr.Tola Jarha who promised awards from between 50,000 and 100,000 Kenyan shillings for any student who gets between mean grade B minus, also present was Wakili Brian Komora who took the stage to inspiring his peers.
