Kenya Police Inspector General term comes to end today, here are some of his possible successors.

Today, 11th March 2019 IG of Police Joseph Boinnet term ends.He concludes his tenure at the age of 56 years. He is not eligible for another term under the 2010 construction that the holder of such office serve a fixed a one term of four years.

Here are his possible successors.

1 GEORGE KINOTI

The current head of Directorate of criminal investigation. He is a career police officer who rose to the current rank. He is performing well in investigating high power scandals.

2 ISAAC OCHIENG

The current Kenyan’s ambassador to Brazil. Before that, he served as a director of National Counter Terrorism Center.

He was long serving National Intelligence Officer prior to his appointment to the National Counter Terrorism Center.

3 GORDON KHAHALANGWA

The current permanent secretary state department of immigration Border control and Registration of person.

The no-nonsence officer is a former Kenya airforce military man.

4 CHARLES OWINO

The current National Police Service spokesman. He is a career police officer who has risen through ranks to his current rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police.

He has also served as an investigator in the DCI

5 PHILIP KAMERU

The current National intelligence Service Director General

He is performing well in his current position. Prior to that he was the head of Military Intelligence in our armed forces KDF

Experts are saying he is so senior for this position.

6 EDWARD MBUGWA

The current Deputy inspector general of police incharge of Kenya Police Service. Prior to his appointment he was the head of President Uhuru Kenyatta security team.

7 NOOR GABOW

The current deputy inspector general incharge of Administration Police Service. He is a no-nonsence officer who was the Kenya Police College, Kiganjo commandant.

8 ERIC KIRAITHE

The current Government spokesman. Prior to that he was the Kenya Police Service spokesman.

He is a career police officer.

9 DOUGLAS KANJA

The current GSU commandant who coordinated the quick and effective Dusit D2 attack.

He was able to lead a special command unit of Administration Police, flying squad, GSU’s Recce squad and KDF special forces unit to respond to the attack. The operation was praised by everyone.

10 NELSON MARWA

The current Devolution CAS, who was the Coast regional commissioner prior to that.

While at Coast he fearless fight drugs and drugs barons and terrorism. He is no-nonsence, tough talking and he has good intelligence network across the country.
