City stars fc knocked out of the County Football Tournament.

City Stars popularly as Wazimu has been knocked out of the County Football Tournament on Wednesday 6th March 2019 which is being witnessed in the entire county by their bitter rivals Zamaleck fc.

The two have faced each other on various tournaments and leagues as City Stars won two games while Zamaleck won one game on the four head to head on competitive matches while a barren draw last year on the County League and two games went draw on friendly fixtures.

The fixture as always has attracted a handful number of spectators all over Milalulu area since as they say it’s a derby as all teams are from Laini village.

The first half goals from both teams gave a huge tension who can proceed to the next round. Salim Said Hero, well known as Slim Boo went ahead to score a brilliant goal on the 25th minute to put Zamaleck ahead. Zamaleck fc fans had to provide chants for their team at least to win the game.

Salim Godhana made a stunning goal at the 35th from City Stars to revive hopes for the team. City fans had to give a full support now. So the first half went 1-1 goals from both sides.

The second half came on style as once again Abdul Gede from Zamaleck the Santi Carzola as his fellow team mates call him scored a wonderful goal after an assist from Galogalo Hassan and unfortunately the assistant referee denied as a an offside goal.

Bubu Rhova scored a brilliant goal after a wonderful free kick made Zamaleck fans to leave their seats once again as celebrations started to bag a win for Zamaleck only the center referee Bajio pointed to be a goal kick.

The winner had to be decided on penalties after the draw since there was no extra time of fifteen minutes.

The results were 4-1 in favor of Zamaleck as City missed to convert the penalties.

Zamaleck will now face Eleven Stars on the next round.
