Eight Kenya wildlife service have been suspended after being suspected of shooting and killing an elderly man in Assa area.
The officers allegedly involved in the murder were responsible in manning Tsavo East national park which borders Tana River county.
At the time of the incident, it is not known whether mzee Lami Bocha who was killed was armed, but police are following the matter.
Oromo leaders led by Garsen Member of Parliament Hon. Ali Hashaka have been following the matter and last week they met Tourism Minister Hon Najib Balala and KWS Director General which led to the suspension of said officers.
The minister instructed the Directorate of Criminal Investigation to investigate the suspects then take them to court.
