Speaking on a public baraza Mikinduni MCA said that the county assembly had passed a record 100 million for youth employment. The 50 % budget which was passed last month is yet to be signed by the county governor after differences between the Governor and MCA’s who changed the initial budget proposal sent by the executive and added 3 ward development projects which did not go well with the county executive.

The MCA also called upon Galole member of parliament Hon. Said Posta and tana river senator Ali Wario to interfere in the match contested relocation of the county headquarters from Hola to Dayate.

  1. Can the leaders from Tana-River county stop this finger pointing and come together help their people.
    It appears the Governor and MCA’S are not reading from the same script, if this so then what do we expect. When shall we get the most needed development. Look at Makueni and Kitui counties which have almost the same or worse climatic condition like ours what they were able to do for their counties. Makueni is able to export fruit products like mango including dairy products. What do they have that we do not, we may be better off. Our great Tana River a big resource that we can tap for the sake of our people. This finger pointing of leaders will send us no where. Our leaders need to go to the a fore mention counties for bench-making.. God bless Tana County.
