A man who identified himself as Abdullahi Rajab Daud registered as a voter in Kalkacha in Galole Constituency, addressed a letter to the Chairman of the Public Service Board and The County Assembly of Tana River County. He termed the Board to be nepotic, jingoistic, dishonest and pro-grafted.
Mr Abdullahi literally undressed the Public Service Board to nudity when he argued that the nominated County Chief Officer for Finance is a second year student at Mount Kenya University (MKU),Malindi Campus and that he has not yet graduated with a Bachelors Degree. According to Abdullahi the List of Nominees indicated that the County Chief Officer for Finance is “awaiting graduation” something which he termed as a cover up and a blatant lie from the rock bottom of Hell. However, Mr Abdullahi failed to mention that the nominee is a CPA holder. A qualification equivalent to a Bachelors Degree.
The good man also wants a ground quivering explanation on why the nominated County Chief Officer for Health and Sanitation was initially shortlisted and interviewed for the department of Environment and Resources but has now been nominated and vetted for the department of Health and Sanitation.
Lastly, Abdullahi wants to know why the nominated County Chief Officer for Livestock and Veterinary Service was initially not interviewed for that department. Abdullahi doubts the requisite acumen of this particular officer.
Abdullahi in his letter asked the Good House to initiate a process of investigating the conduct of the Public Service Board Officers and if found palpable a disciplinary action be instituted against them.
